Who We Are

Our platform is led by Preston Barnhart, an enthusiastic and internationally-minded educator with over a decade of teaching experience. Preston is a credentialed English teacher holding a Clear Single Subject California Teaching Credential in English Language Arts and Social Studies, along with a Multiple Subject Credential for elementary education. His background includes teaching across diverse curricula such as IB, IGCSE, and AP, which means he understands the challenges students face when tackling complex language concepts—like idioms.

With a BA in English and Comparative Literature and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Preston has built his career around helping learners of all levels succeed in both language arts and English as a Second/Foreign Language. He is currently pursuing another MA in English to deepen his expertise in literature and writing.
